Blind and sighted participants take turns offering descriptors of one another. No explanations are allowed; while one person speaks, the other listens. Participants may rely on sight, sound, touch, memory, or inference.

The work follows how two people approach one another through unequal and shifting forms of access, without ever fully arriving at the same understanding of the other.
