In 2022, the former Post and Telecommunications Equipment Factory, one of the last industrial structures of its kind in Hanoi, was demolished for new development. At the site, construction hoarding was printed with idealized scenes of nature: blue skies, white clouds, and lush landscapes. I placed my body within these scenes, where a promised future meets traffic, rubble, and the traces of what has been removed.

My body occupies the awkward gap between demolition and development, trying to fit inside an image of what comes next.
